glad i'm not the only spit wiper. i've occasionally gotten the diva cup to splash if it's too full. Never used tampons.

i almost ALWAYS have the smack mark on the underside of my toilet seat and as previously mentioned, i spit in some toilet paper and wipe it up.
I think its because I am so forking relieved to pull the damned thing out that I go slinging it everywhere like a jackson pollock painting.

You know what's even grosser? When the pee-string gets caught in your butt crack while wiping and then you have to root around your crack for a wet string. I haven't used a tampon in years and I still have nightmares about that. Oh yes. I'm a very conscientous tucker. Move the string forward and tuck it into your bikini line (when you sit to pee, I mean.) You never have to grab a peed on string that way.

The other day I dropped a full DivaCup on the bathroom floor though. There's a phrase for that: INSTANT CRIME SCENE. Sigged! Ha ha. I'm glad someone appreciates it!

I can't believe Adah's awesome ad didn't get any recognition yet! I am so happy I wasn't born 50 years earlier. I just discovered how much warmer I am after not shaving my armpits for three months. My husband hasn't dared to mention it.
When I used to wear (applicator-less) tampons, I occasionally had swing issues. I don't understand where the Diva Cup splatter comes from, but apparently it's pretty bad. Oh well, I gave up on feminine daintiness a long time ago.

I don't know why I assumed that everyone on the ppk has a menstrual cup.
I started at work today and didn't have my cup, so I used one of the office tampax and OMIGOD SO WEIRD.

Yes, everyone pay attention to me and the very important things I do! Menstrual cups freak me out. Mainly because I tried one in college back before anyone I knew used them and it stuck up my croissant. I couldn't break the suction and I couldn't get it out. I ended up pulling on it and HOLY shiitake THAT forking HURT MY INNARDS! I finally managed to break the seal after like a 30 minute painful ordeal. There's no way in hell I'll try it again.

I started at work today and didn't have my cup, so I used one of the office tampax and OMIGOD SO WEIRD. I thought the same thing. I had to use a tampon on vacation and it felt so awkward.

Am I the only one that doesn't know what this is? o.o it's a cup made out of bendy material. it has a little spout on the bottom so it doesn't get lost. you put it way up your hoo hoo like a tampon, but it creates a suction and stays up there and fills with menstrual fluids. then you pull it out and dump it out and rinse it and start all over again. you use it over and over and over again. it comes in pre and post birth sizes or young and old, whichever. xo kittee

Edit: I don't mean to hijack the tampon thread with menstrual cup talk. Carry on!

the tampax brand ones say you can flush them. it just says frequent flushing is not advised for septic systems
