Oh man I'm screwed. I have low energy and will sit all day at my job. I really need something that forces me to get up more often.

That's all I can find anywhere. The one I saw in person like 2 years ago seemed more challenging. It was just the ball with a mini back thingy.

My past boss used a treadmill desk. She sat down a lot anyway. It is hard to really draw or anything with them (which she does often)

Um, but does this study address that some people who sit more have diseases already? Like, hmm, I'm dying of cancer, I think I'll sit down. It's not going to start a squatting revolution.

Damn! I was hoping that they would say lying down is slightly better than sitting up cause right now I spend my days reading and laptopping and I can do both of those lying down. But no such luck.

I am doomed. Doomed. Not only do I sometimes sleep too much, but I'm going to suffer an early death, probably later this week, because I'm employed as a potted plant.

I'm going to set Outlook to remind me to get up and walk around for a little bit once every hour. Which seems sad. Has anyone seen anything about how frequently one has to stand/walk/skip/jump in order to live 'til next week?

I think you have to stand on one foot hopping for the rest of this week to make up for the past week in order to make it to next week.
