Guys. I am certified bright freaking orange. I can see it in my face in photos; IRL I can see it in the palms of my hands and the creases of my knuckles.
Google says it's harmless, but I kind of want it gone. I'm trying to cut back on snacking on nothing but carrots all the time, but cutting out oranges and mangoes and carrots and dark leafy greens... well, I'm running out of foods. And still bright orange. I look like I have a horrid fake spray-tan. Which is especially weird because I naturally have an olive-ey tan complexion.
Help, plzkthx.

what about sticking to apples for your fruit and then focusing on grains and legumes until it goes away and drink water.

That's cool but also inconvenient! I've always wanted to see an orange person. You are just going to have to change your diet to get rid of it, and for the long-run if you don't want this to happen again. You don't have to cut those foods out completely, just find a variety of other things to replace some of the carotenoid-rich foods (I like the above suggestions of fruit and grains). Drink plenty of water like IJDI suggests to be rid of it.

But I feel like I do eat a lot of other foods (I certainly know a fair number of people who consume more carotenoids than do I!) and drink a lot of hydrating fluids (no fruit juices, but teas/tisanes more than water because it's cold). How long should it take for me to de-orange?
Man, Elphaba. I think I'd rather be green.

Even your avatar is orange. Nuts. I'd rather be blue.
But seriously! That's kind of fun but you should listen to IJDI. I only play a doctor on the internet but you have you ruled out jaundice? Wikipedia, although dubious, does say it comes out from sweating and urine. You could try to burn some fat off and see if that works... if you have fat to lose. My image of an excessive carrot eater would be somebody of perfect health. The only way I'd turn orange is from a real spray tan.

I'm at a healthy weight but have less than no muscle so I probably do have some fat to lose, all told. Wikipedia and WebMD have presented me with a litany of ways my pancreas and liver might hate me, which I hope aren't true... Ugh, this means seeing a doctor. Ugh. I'll draft myself up some kind of record to see what I'm actually eating and why this might not be going away, I guess. How can getting my delicious, lovely fruits and veggies be such a pain in the asparagus?

Dr Fuhrman, who is also orange-hued, posted about how sexy a carotenoid glow is.
