I get excited waiting for mine to arrive too! And my nails are the same, strips tend to rip off I don't actually get chips.
Mine feel much better this week. I think I weakened them painting for the past few weekends, I was using polyfilla on cracks in the wall and it would get all over my fingers & nails and I washed my hands about 20 times a day.
