I hate late ones too. And ones after skipped periods. I feel like those after I miss one are twice as bad to make up for the missed one. Like this month, for example.

I just got my period for the first time since 2004 (Depo). I want to forking kill someone. I want to scream to my ovaries/uterus/whatever, "hey, we had a good thing going, bisques."
In other news, tampons have come a long way in six years.

it started this afternoon, half an hour before my shift was over. it took a few hours to build but my cramps are getting worse and worse. i made some cowgirl cookies from VCIYCJ and they're pretty good, PERFECT for this lonely saturday night. chocolate, cranberries, cinnamon, oats, yum. at least tomorrow i'm home all day and it's the second day so i can just stay in my pjs and have the heating pad on me all day while drinking cramp bark tea. monday might be horrible.

i'm so glad i included cookies in my meal plan...amazing. i made the plan friday night and didn't know i'd get my period saturday, so i got to come home and eat cooooookies.
last night i couldn't sleep at all. i woke up every forking two hours with horrible cramps so i slept with my heating pad on (i know i'mnot supposed to do that) but oh man was it awful. luckily though, since i've been out of bed, i haven't had cramps as bad, but man, was it a rough night.
it's just annoying because i can't tell if i'm actually hungry or just craving stuff to fight off the cramps.

I like that mine decided to show up a week and a half early. And I didn't realize that the strange pains I was getting were cramps because why would I have cramps when shark week isn't for a goddamn week and a half? So I didn't take ibuprofen until far too late for it to do much good. Yippee.

Normally I get horrible, cystic acne around my jaw when I'm about to start my period/while I'm on, but this time, amazingly, it was a lot better. I drank lots of water and green tea, changed my pillow cover every couple days and used tea tree face wash. I hope this continues to work.
It didn't stop me from wanting to eat everything in sight though, or from wanting to bawl my eyes out over the stupidest things.

it came! we were on day 64 of my cycle! of course, it came while I was sitting in court for 4 hours and is giving me ridiculous cramps, breakouts, and hungers, but at least no babies?

either mine keeps coming 2 days early now, or the period tracking app in my phone is a pile of garbage. It came on Wednesday last month and Monday this month, before it was coming on Fridays on the reg. What the hell, people?

After reading some posts about how bad some of you have pain I feel inclined to share this with you.
I was having major problems and after over a year of no one figuring out what was wrong the doctor finally figured out I had fibroids after an abdominal scan. I finally got my hysterectomy and I feel awesome and I don't have to mess with periods anymore.
I'm only telling you this because I wish someone had told me because I suffered for over a year!

Yeah, if you suddenly start having issues that weren't normal for you before, definitely get checked out. And even if you've always had problems, there might be something you can do. It took me almost a decade and a half to figure out that I didn't have to bleed so much, even though it's something I clearly just inherited.

guys i just lost all my dignity. k. i was wearing my cup today, right, but was at my aunts house all day, 2 hours away from home, and i think that when i pooped at her house the divacup kind of pushed out a little bit, so all day it was sitting in a slightly uncomfortable position, but i could NOT adjust it at her house. so i just got home and tried to empty it/put it back in but it hurt way too much and now it burns and constantly feels like i have to pee. so i took my cup out and am now wearing a pad, and it still hurts. i just hope it's gone by tomorrow because i'm hanging out with people - plans that are UNCANCELLABLE.
omg you guys :( :( i hate this feeling i'm just going to drink lots of water and eat cowgirl cookies with dried cranberries in them, maybe drink some cranberry tea later. like any of this will forking help. and the pad. omg i forking hate pads. ew.

i've been SO EMOTIONAL this time. AAAARGH. i am changing between being deeply depressed and completely manic. and i am so sexually frustrated and i don't like having sex while on my period so i will just have to wait it out. oh, and the cramps sorta suck aswell. the good news is that i am on hormonal BC now, so hopefully that will make it all better next time.

I tried testing "have sex," but that isn't filtered, so I was trying to think of more racy euphemisms, but most of them are already filters I know. I didn't realize I should've gone the way of "less racy."

As much as I bisque and moan about pms and all that, I don't actually mind having my period. It makes me feel more in tune with my body, plus gives me an excuse to sleep until noon. Yay ovaries!
