Things not to do in the future: listen to the Story Corps podcast on the day before my period. Oh, the feels.

I had to do something very emotionally challenging today, and totally started crying at the person I was trying to talk to. At work, on the stairwell. Really embarrassing. And I have to do a similar thing tomorrow, which is the day I'm due on. I hope I can keep my shiitake together, otherwise I'll feel awkward and embarrassed in front of my colleague forevermore, and like I've put them in an awkward situation. fork!

The thing I was worried about today, that was causing me to not be able to get to sleep through stress and worry, went completely smoothly and without any embarrassment or awkwardness! Bloody emotions, eh?

Not entirely flaw-free, but it's getting better. And, for me, is waaaaaaay more user-friendly than supercarrot's FAM charts.

Just what I wanted for my birthday: cramps, overly emotionalness, and my period! add my mom wanting to talk about wedding stuff and we have a winner.

The cramps in my scar tissue are radiating throughout my right hip into my bum, up my hip flexor and down my leg. I'm farty and my head hurts.

I'm on continuous birth control to keep my endometriosis symptoms in check, so I'm not getting periods, but right now I have super light spotting, some mild cramping and the occasional tinge of endo pain. What the hell. You really can't escape your periods.

I have the copper IUD and it has made my periods super heavy and super painful. I'm actually sitting in a cafe doing some work, swearing to myself every so often because it hurts so much.

After two fairly normal periods, my uterus is back to playing "let's see if I can make you bleed to death!" Like I emptied my cup before starting to take a shower, and checked it again at the end of my (maybe 15 minute long?) shower it was full again. I'm not super amused.

Second period with no cup and no money to replace or buy tampons. At least this month I found some pantyliners lying around, so there's protection between Epic Wad o' TP and pantaloons. Ugh.

I was really annoyed with her for changing it in the first place so if it carries on like this I'm just gonna ask her to change me back when I go back to see her.

i was just pouring out my soul in the existential crisis thread before I realized 95% of my problems can be blamed on my period. fork you period. I've had the worst hangover for about 5 days now without drinking anything (dizzy, barfy, stomachachey) and I know it's your fault.

I have some terrible pain that I would not describe as cramps, more like a reproductive system of fire. I woke up at four, in pain and my period Suprise! had started. Today is my day off, so at least I don't have to do things, but Jesus, this ruining my day off.

Today I blacked out on my kitchen floor because my cramps were so bad. When I regained consciousness the cramps were still really bad, and I ended up just lying there until my partner got home from work.

This is the third time I've blacked out this week...

I'm on day 8 of this stupid period on the pill that 'most women don't get periods on'!! It's not showing any signs of being done yet either. Unimpressed.

That sucks baps.

All my period-y symptoms have gone away. I've had a couple of stress-filled months but that's never impacted my period before. So maybe I should go pee on a stick soon... :/
