It's my busiest couple of weeks at work for the entire year, my period is all, "MUHAHAHAHAH!"

Nobody thinks it's funny when I call it "The Bloodening." Everyone sucks.

I want to curl up in a ball and not get out of bed. I haven't had cramps/nausea this bad with a period in a while. I hope I can convince my guy to go get me soup... walking to the store sounds like a horrible idea and I really want soup.

The Bloodening is an awesome thing to call it!

So two hours ago I was starving hungry. Quickly went to feeling like I was about to puke. Now I am starving again. I hate when I get nausea on my period. Pain I can deal with but nausea is something I hate.

My sister calls it the bloodening. My period is over so I've magically lost five pounds of bloat which I am pleased about.

I can tell I'm PMS-y, because the teensiest little problems are sending me into rage mode. Everything is too stressful!

Everything was already stressful, but now I just want to cry. I don't understand why my period always has to come when I'm already sick. I'm just so sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. My body hates me.

Now I understand the migraine and crankiness. I thought it was just a light bit but I put my cup in as a precaution, then I had some spotting so I figured I must have just not gotten it in right. Wrong. It was like a freaking murder scene when I got the chance to deal with that. All over the bathroom. Just glad I didn't try that at home. I can't decide if I want to make cookies or just eat the chocolate chips straight up.

Ugh, yesterday I had the worst cramps. Today is okay so far (took some pain meds this morning preemptively though), but my period still isn't even here! Hoping it comes tonight or tomorrow, so that the heaviest day is over by Saturday. I want to enjoy my three day weekend!

Mine came on so quiet this week that I bled through my undies and skirt hanging out in the park ALL day without noticing. It's been years since this type thing.

After seven weeks missing my period has come with a VENGEANCE! First period off birth control and I almost wish I hadn't come off. I don't know what was worse, the mega water retention and nausea of the BC or the pain so bad I feel dizzy now. I think I'm going to make an appointment with a gyno this month.

But seriously, if my period was going to not come for seven weeks couldn't it have waited ONE MORE WEEK!? Biggest uni exam of the whole degree coming up and I'm finding it very hard to revise medieval Europe when it feels like the battle is going on in my uterus instead. Dosed up on co-codamol but now I still hurt and feel sleepy. Great.

My period gave me three weeks of PMS while I was stressing about my move, and, at day 62 of lateness, showed up on my flight across the country where I was caring for two very scared cats. I've been bleeding since and we're at day 5. You know how you just start feeling gross? Like, I'm an open wound and I have been for days don't come near me.

mine is doing the opposite of you all, apparently. I had bad PMS this weekend (hello, entire pint of So Delicious...goodbye pint of So Delicious)...but now I just have essentially heavy spotting. Super annoying but not really enough to justify my cup but too much for nothing. And for multiple days. Lately I've been doing 1-2 days of spotting and then my actual period. Day 4 of spotting is lovely.

So my period started last Friday and I'm still spotting now. That's 11 days. My IUD has made my periods lighter and less painful, but I'm really not liking how long I keep spotting after my period is over now.

I need to buy black underwear. I always forget/don't think I need to put on a pantyliner, but then at the end of the day I have lovely dark reddish brown stains. I'm going to ruin all my underwear if this keeps up!

Okay, so we had a condom issue, I took plan b. period came as normal. this month? 8 days late. but then i looked over my history and apparently my cycle runs long once a year, usually in june or july or aug. weird.

cramps/migraine/nausea.

I thought I was cramping for two days so I was expecting my period (and it's about the time I would normally expect it) but...nothing. And now I don't have cramps anymore. Which is good, I'm just confused.

The Bloodening is being super jerky this month. I had to go buy a cheapo multi-pack of underwear because no feminine product is able to contain it.
