I always get it early when I can't deal with any extra crepe. Also, I'm not thrilled that as soon as I get my new iron infusions my body immediately starts trying to get rid of iron. I'd like to maaaaaybe not feel like crepe from severe anemia for a change. (Plus side is the new infusions didn't have awful side effects and only took 80 minutes each instead of 4-5 hrs)

My period came 4 days early this month and it is heavy and crampy. I finally found some vegan chocolate. Wine alone was not strong enough this month.

Anyone have a recommendation for cloth pads? An etsy seller would be great.

Also, fork you period. I'm so annoyed I've developed an ibuprofen allergy, since that means I don't have any way to lessen the cramping.

I got nothing on your first q, sorry. But I can't take ibuprofen or any NSAIDs because they mess up my stomach. But I take co-codamol monthly for my cramps, it helps take the edge off.

I got my period during my shift today at work, and had no pain meds, and was in too much pain to walk to the drug store on my break. It was a fun day.

I take co-codamol too and it's the only thing that really helps (shouldn't take medicine that can hurt my stomach so ibuprofen is out). I had some really awful cramps yesterday, spent half the day just curled up on the sofa in pain :(

After two months of being MIA (not that unusual for me, unfortunately), it showed up yesterday on the SAME DAY I chose to cut back on sugar. mustard.

I still use the organic cotton cloth pads I bought at Whole Foods in 2004. They're great!

Migraines all week. My period is meant to start tomorrow, so I blame it for the migraines. Also the pre-cramps. Also the nausea. Come on period! we used to be friends.

Not an etsy seller, but I've been using Party In My Pants pads for years. I also have some that I've made myself, the Party In My Pants ones are my favorites though.

Today I have eaten ALL THE THINGS, cried twice, and spent a total of 80 minutes in bed in the fetal position with a heating pad.

Not an etsy seller, but Luna Pads have always come highly recommended to me.

Today I decided to argue with a friend's anti-vegan friend on facebook and I teared up when I heard TLC's 'Waterfalls'. Hmmm.

I know everyone makes fun of the banana ice cream, but...make that shiitake. Throw in some dates and cinnamon. Bonus points if you make peanut butter magic shell (PB + coconut oil).

I just made a gigantic bowl and I want more.

I also want some mac and cheese. Any kind.

I have hummus but no crackers or chips or bread.

I busted out the EB mac and cheese that I won tonight. I ate almost the whole box, and I have no regrets.

I didn't do the banana ice cream because I didn't have any frozen bananas, so I just ate a huge bowl of strawberries and peaches instead (I don't know how I've managed to resist the Rice Dream Bites I have in the freezer, but I have... so far).

Haha, I have totally teared up to Waterfalls.

Today I cried at work three times. It was really embarrassing.

Also, I have like a million massive mosquito and black fly bites and that + ovulating=SO bisque-y and uncomfortable.

My period was really weird this month... Was super heavy and incredibly painful for like 3 days and seems to have stopped now. Although knowing my body, it's probably going to come back and ruin my underwear/pyjamas.

Here's a link: http://gladrags.com/

Before I bought them, a friend let me try from her collection (GladRags, Luna Pads, 2-3 others) and the GladRags were best for me. Maybe look at a couple of different company's styles before you choose?

I bought some from ppker ErikaSoyF*cker, but I'm not sure if she has any more stock as I believed she has moved on to even more badass DIY undertakings. They are so soft and lovely and easy to clean, though, and such fun fabrics!

I always forget when I wear cloth pads to work how awkward it is to be rinsing them. Oops. But I just can't go back to disposable!

My period is due sometime in the next week and I have developed a few stonking great spots on my chin. Somehow they seem to be concealer-resistant, spot cream resistant etc. no matter how much stuff I pile on top of them they are glaring like traffic lights two seconds later.

Yeah!

When I'm at work, I take plastic bags and then just soak at home afterwards. That's been ok so far, but I also always carry a backpack to work, so it's no problem to have extra stuff in my bag.
