Im kind of happy I am crampy. I'm on the pill and never miss a day. I will be late taking it sometimes but if I'm late its because I'm at work really early when I'd usually still be asleep in the morning, or at my mothers. So no time for hanky panky unprotected, and I take it as soon as I remember. my period was only one full day last month which kind of bothered me, but I decided as long as I have a regular period this time, I'm ok. Missing one period on the pill is normal, but its never happened to me. I've only been taking them since april though. Today is the day I start but nothing has happened yet.

I had heavy, slasher-film bleeding for 17 days in a row. 17. Went to gyno who put me on BC and now am mostly bothered by the constant horndog feeling. Jeebs. Stupid hormones.
Also, have eaten 3 pumpkin muffins in the span of about 45 minutes.

The same thing happened to me when I was 18 and the doc just put me on BC as well. I didnt last 3 months because it made me crazy, and I wasnt comfortable taking hormones.

I started my period by the way, yay!

phee, I was crazy before the BC so it's all good! I would take Draino tablets each month if it keeps me from 17+ day periods that look like something out of "Saw."

haha. I understand. Im on bc now so believe me. I was having 42-45 day cycles before.

I'm crampy and grumpy. Earlier I was in superdrug to get some ibuprofen when I realised that all of the period-pain pain relief is in PINK packaging. Of course.

i got my period on my birthday this year :(

I have officially got diagnosed with PCOS which means I will have to go back on the pill and therefore I will be getting my period every month again. I have missed it. Is that odd?

Period headaches are THE WORST.

I know I'm pretty bad off right now because my cramps are so bad and all anyone has said is basically "how can I help?" but I keep imagining what if they WEREN'T saying that? What if they kept giving unsolicited advice like eat healthier and exercise more? Man, I'd be so pissed. And then I get pissed at people for saying things they've said in my own imagination

I switched to a different birth control pill not too long ago. My cramps can be pretty severe now but the thing is, I can cramp for a week or 2 before my period. Just random cramps. They hurt like crazy. They aren't consistent but it is like "bam, here you go, painful cramp for 15 minutes, I'll see you in a couple days"

OWW. Also I entered my previous start dates into Period Tracker for the iPhone and my cycle is INSANE.

Absolutely the worst. I want to lay in bed with a pillow over my head for a week.

I have to pee a lot more on my period. And I already have to pee like all the time...

That's a good thing! Water retention suckzors.

It would be except I'm doing driving school this week and I'm now that weird girl who gets up and goes to the bathroom all the time!

Working on a holiday, AND I'm bleeding like the dickens. WHAT IS GOING ON DOWN THERE.

my cramps and my husband's alarm conspired to wake me at 5am and 1 hour and 40 minutes later the advil hasn't kicked in so I'm up, hurray.

cramps from HELL. woke me at 5am, couldn't go back to sleep. 2 advil at 5, 2 more at 7, still hurst like hell at 9:15. period just starting, waiting for the...

i've made an unfortunate connection in symptoms and i can now say that i get hemorrhoids when i get my period. WTH????

Tired and irritable? Check.
Weak and lightheaded? Check.
Beginnings of cramps? Check.
Intense chocolate craving that led to me frantically baking a cake at 10pm? Check.

And of course I have a busy day tomorrow that requires me to wake up 2 hours earlier than usual. I am going to be SO cranky.

There's no such thing as TMI on the PPKF, right? Good. Warning though, this is completely gross, so don't read while you're eating.

Periods generally seem to make me shiitake more, and sometimes it's slightly looser. Today my period showed up 5 days later than expected and I did a shiitake so liquid I had to have another shower! I thought opiate-based painkillers (which I'm on for my deformed arthritic hip) were supposed to cause constipation? Well, they didn't seem to touch this. Eurgh!

drop, i think that might be part of my personal TMI problem too - more poo. Ugh.

Uuh I got my period today and while my stomach is slightly aching, the lower back is the worst. I just wanna go to bed and watch movies but I really need to study some more. The fact that there are no vanilla custard filled buns left from the party yesterday makes me super cranke. I would have needed those today!
