seriously, it's not fair to be crazy-emotional for 5 days and then finally feel like a normal human again only to be struck down with awful cramp pain and loads of blood.

I hardly cramp at all when I use my diva cup. AMAZING.

I forking got my period the day before I have to move into my apartment. It's made packing etc quite the emotional experience.

My last cycle was 23 days. The one before was 24. Having a kid seems to have made my cycles way shorter. I guess this is my new normal? It sucks.

I always get terrible cramps in front AND in my lower back for the first 2 days of my period. It feels like wearing a wide belt with spikes on the inside that drive deeper into my body every time I move or even breathe a bit deeply. (For the past few months, I'm also having waves of nausea during the week before it starts. Wheee!!!) This evening, the back cramps are so bad that I can't even wash my face. Learning forward, even just a little bit, is just too excruciating.

I used to bleed lightly and never at night, but in the past few years my cycle has changed, so now I start bleeding in the evening. Which means no sex for the first couple (heaviest days) of my period. That's when I'm horniest! Body, stop sabotaging my sex life!

Boobs are hurt-y and weigh 5 metric tonnes each. I also have weird cramps that feel like shooting pains in my vagina. It's going to be a bad shark week.

My uterus hurts. The week before is always hell for me.

I'm tired of being annoyed at EVERYTHING! I want my stupid period to start so the emotional rollercoaster will come to a stop!

Mine started about a week early (I'm on the pill, so that hasn't happened before), and it's still going. (Usually lasts 3-4 days, has been 5 days now). I don't have cramps or anything really, but I've had a headache for two days that Advil is not really helping. I'm going to the doctor, but I kind of feel like a baby about it. What do you guys think?

All I know is that the last two months, my PMS has been absolutely awful. I've never noticed it before apart from some cramping but now it's crying, depression, anxiety... it's nuts.
And I feel really bad for my partner when I'm like this. I'm extra-sensitive and craycray.

I'm having the weirdest cycle ever. I usually fill 2+ cups per day, but this time, I've barely filled one in three days put together. Not complaining about the relative ease of this month, just dreading the inevitable oncoming storm.

This is my second period since I've been off the pill. I've never had heavy periods before...this is just insane. My cup filled up in about 2 hours. I was feeling so nauseous and faint. Got some liquid iron into me, tea, painkiller and rest.

No period yet but had painful cramps for over an hour last night at 3am.

Today and tomorrow are going to be a nightmare because I can't take my usual period cramp medication which I need to use to even approximate feeling okay for the first two days because I have to go for a medical test this week and my menstrual relief med is on the disallowed list for a few days before that particular test. Argh and ugh and gritting my teeth and curling up in a fetal position and all that.

After a week and a half of ravenous hunger, intense abdominal pain, and a sour mood I have finally started. I can't get anything done without a bit of cramp bark every so often.

I ate a lot of hummus then tried to go for a run a couple hours later, but my body is STILL hating me for it. I've been on the verge of barfing since. Why, body... whyyyyy. So much for "powering through" a workout with horrible cramps.

If this keeps happening talk to a health care professional. There are drugs you may be able to take for the heavy bleeding (NSAIDs and antifibrinolytics).

where arrreee yooouuuu??? It's day 48...I had some spotting (super light) the past 2 days, but no cramps or anything other than a bit of bloating and overeating (which may or may not be related). We had a condom issue about a month ago and I took a pregnancy test about 2 weeks after that, and it was negative, but now I'm starting to worry. I'm hoping that I was just super stressed the past few weeks so my body was holding out on me. If I get to day 60 I will take another prego test. Ugh. I know I sometimes have super long cycles but the last 2 or 3 were around 30 days. I haven't been temping this cycle either. boo.

Ugh mine came two days eaaaaarly.

No storm. Just a seemingly never ending mist apparently. I started this forking thing nine days ago. NINE. I've never had a cycle like this. I'm freaking out. I should call my doctor, right?
