A half hour or so run alternating 2 mins running, 1 minute walking. Being ill for the past three and a half has done a number on my c.v. fitness. Most difficult run of my life!

Climbed for 90 minutes with my manfriend yesterday. He's doing way better (only been going once a week for a month or so) and I'm improving too. It's so much fun to workout with him!

Been regularly doing 12 each of the 5 tibetan rites every morning plus 5 surya namaskar A and anywhere from 2-4 surya namaskar B depending on how tired and dizzy I'm feeling by that point. I can just barely brush the ground with my fingertips after my morning yoga now! I've never been able to touch my toes, even as a child. Haven't been climbing as all my climbing friends have moved out to the mountains for the summer :(.

Okay, if I want this to be a routine, I guess it's best to start posting here (instead of sticking to my "remind myself" kind of thread). ;)

Did the hour-long Zumba "Ripped" DVD with 1.25 kg weights. (Sweated a minor ocean.)
Awesome frozen green smoothie afterwards (banana+strawberries+spinach+flaxseed+soymilk).

going to do strength training later tonight, but I painted the entire print studio alone and I feel like that has to count for something.

Hey! I can totally exercise in the morning and not collapse!
Had to get up much earlier than usual (someone came by to pick up the exercycle I was giving away for free, beacuse I'm moving and I never used it anymore), so I put in an hour of Zumba (again with the weights), and I feel great!
It's super hot, though. Glad I'm moving into a cooler flat. This one is a bit like a sauna in summer.

I did my first free session with a personal trainer. (I won four sessions!)
Lots of lunges, squats and free weights for the arms. I learned my knees are reallyweak. And that my legs are not as strong as I think them to be. She made me a plan for the next two weeks!

Half an hour of treadmill-running to cheesey mashups followed by rows, dumbbell chest presses and squats. I'm doing a version of Stronglifts 5x5 modified to things my gym actually has (its weights section is quite small but it's convenient, friendly and I'm not the sort of person to drive to a gym in another town because they have a better range of barbells.)

I've been trying to boost my core strength to help with knee issues on my bike so I got "Six Week, Six Pack" from the library and did it for the first time tonight. Holy hell I don't remember the last time I sweat so much.

Ran to, from and on the beach. I have really wet feet right now because I never check the tides but I don't mind at all. :)
