Finally put in another hour of Zumba (with weights). I was dying to get some exercise after this weekend of sitting in cars and eating. Also, I feel like I'm getting rid of a lot of accumulated office stress during my workout. I no longer want to shout at people to leave me alone. ;)

Sidesteps with a resistance band, glute bridges, dead bugs.
Eight sets of five reps each with a 12kg kettlebell: snatch, clean, one handed swings (I have blisters and bruises from this!).
Three sets of 45 secs on, 15 secs off: squats with 8kg kettlebell, press ups, mountain climbers, reverse lunges, 5kg bicep curls and shoulder presses.
Tabata intervals on the rowing machine.

I messed up my hip too much to run, so today I did forty minutes of yoga from a youtube video. It was hard! Hopefully it'll help me recover faster.

Coached strength training workout. I hadn't been in like a month and it was soooo hard.

20 sweaty minutes on the stair stepper, and 20 minutes of jogging on an elliptical machine. I hadn't been to the gym in a month or so. Attempting to make this a regular thing.

Second gym day: 15 minutes stair steppin', 35 minutes of elliptical running. The Olympic Trials are going on at my school, and from the elliptical machines on the second story you can watch things being set up for the athletes. It's neat.

20 minutes stair stepping. 20 minutes elliptical machine. I was not feeling like being at the gym at all today. I didn't get the usual happy exercise buzz that I get there, I just wanted to leave the whole time. I hope I can get motivated again. I went later today than I normally do, and the vibe felt weird.

30 mins strength training. I missed yesterday's workout, I have been really sore and stiff lately so I just decided to go to chill out, I think it's from my job which involves a lot of lifting things and standing on concrete floors for 6-10 hours.

work for 8 hours on my feet, but it was just a normal day not super busy, plus walking to and from the train and standing on the 45 minute train ride home.
11.3km walk through a few communities and some of the provincial park. Then my feet and hips hurt so I took transit home.

57.4 mile bike ride w/2200+ feet of climbing. I walked a little bit of steep hill, but I made it!

When the gym is the only place where you can hangout for free (with membership) that has electricity (hence air conditioning on a 100 degree day), you will find yourself at the gym for 3 hours.
Various ellipticals= 1 hour Flow yoga = 1.5 hours Hanging out in the lockerroom and changing out of several sets of sweaty clothes = .5 hour

My gym days got interrupted when my card stopped working at the school rec center, and I was informed that to keep working out over the summer I had to buy a summer membership. Though I took classes in the spring and fall, and am signed up for fall classes next term. I understand, but I still feel ripped off a little, considering I didn't start utilizing the gym until the very end of spring term. Whatever! I paid the $45 for a summer membership and I'm back on track.
20 minutes stair stepping, 30 minutes on the elliptical machine (2.8 miles), and I played darts on the rowing machines. After 350 darts I got tired and stopped (the game lasts for 500 pulls, which is insane to me). Tonight I'm going on a group bike ride (which is called the Moonlight Mash, and takes place every full moon) which ought to be fun.

Zumba Ripped! With not only a little pause for drinking cold herbal tea in-between exercises but also a splash of cold water on my face and upper arms. I'm soooo looking forward to moving into a flat that's actually cool in summer! But I'm not giving up. If I want to exercise, I'll find a way.
