10 k run. It was pretty slow and horrible because of all the forking snow. Also my headphones didn't work so i didn't have any music to listen to. Can't wait for spring.

I haven't been logging my workouts here but I should. Today I did an hour (or so) of kettlebell workout. I did a leg weight workout on Wednesday, yesterday I did 30 minutes on the crazy cardio machine and with the kettlebells today, my legs are lead.

Wednesday - 45 minutes cardio. First strength training session last night, followed by 45 minutes cardio. It's the first time I've left the gym and not had a face like a tomato. Rest day today.

A (very short) bit on the elliptical, raking leaves, and biking to dinner on my fancy new birthday bike.

Headed off to the pool for the torture Coach T calls the "Holiday Fun-dreds," which is a series of 100s over 2 hours... like 55 of them for my lane (the slow lane... the fastest fishes have 80 on their pace chart!) Anyhoo, I can rest and refuel whenever I want, but the bottom line is 2 hours of lots and lots of swimming.

My mom bought me an exercise bike for Hanukkah and it's getting here on Tuesday. I should start logging my workouts here, so I can be held accountable.
Speaking of that, is there an exercise bike equivalent to couch to 5 k, so I can have goals and build up to something? that usually helps me stay on task with these sorts of things.

It's a struggle running here at the moment with snow & ice & FREEZING cold wind!

Yeah I agree that fundreds don't sound fun at all!
Sympathy to everyone dealing with snow, ice, and cold. Remember to stay safe, falling and injuring yourself will not help you stay fit!
Thanks Chickpea!

Bah, my lane only made it to 4900. Coachie-poo messed up her math a bit on the intervals and it added up to over 2 hours (and we couldn't have extra time because someone else had the pool after us.) I would have liked to get to 5000 but one girl in my lane effed up everyone's intervals a bit and I needed another minute and a half that I didn't have. Oh well, I sat out one for a breather, so I guess I could have sucked it up and made it. I won't be able to lift my arms over my head tomorrow...

I walked around DC yesterday, that was my exercise. Today, I'm considering an upper body weight workout at the gym because my legs are toast after the last couple days.

Three hour run, broken into a two hour piece, three hour break, and a one hour piece. Should total 17-18 miles (I am in the middle of the break in between.)

Can you tell me a little more about breaking up a long run like that? Extra benefit from running on already tired legs? I am intrigued.
