so I’ve been working out around four days a week for over a month now. this is the first time in my life that this has been a consistent, serious thing and for various reasons, it is a big deal. I have an eating disorder history, and have had very destructive relationships with food, my body, and exercise for a long, long time. but here I am, sticking with it and working hard. it feels great to prove something to myself, and to learn how my body works and all the amazing things it does for me! so now I'm trying to reciprocate that. I'm rebuilding these relationships and strengthening myself both physically and emotionally. every time I choose to work out over staying at home and beating myself up, I'm fighting back at my personal monsters. I'm yelling at them and showing them who's really in charge. I'm proud of myself, and don't let me forget I said it! plus, I'm getting super buff:

That's awesome! It just keeps getting better, doesn't it, as you realize you're getting stronger and your body can do things it couldn't do before?

Good for you! You should keep taking pics and then later on you can flip through them and watch your muscles grow. Seriously though, I am glad you are in a good place, feeling great inside and out-keep going.
