I volunteered to carry the water containers on Sunday (which was a foolish idea and I won't be doing that again!) and then spent the day breaking ice and digging little drainage ditches with a mattock, shovelling hardcore onto a path and cutting back encroaching bushes and overhanging branches. My arms and the big muscle at the base of my thumb are still sore today. At least they're not as agonising as they were late Sunday evening (I felt ok while actually doing the work). I suppose it's a good hurt really- tired muscles rather than strained.

ha ha this thread is perfect for me right now
On Sunday I had a super workout with my trainer and we did lots of stuff with weights and kettlebell swings and my legs got SO tired they were practically buckling underneath me. It was fun! I am still sooo sore it's hilarious. Mostly my butt and my inner thighs.

I don't know if what I am experiencing is 'soreness' in the traditional sense, but after doing some burpees the other day (never again), my feet are in severe pain. And it's more "I think I broke a bone in my foot' kind of pain.

I am stressed about this because walking is my main and most enjoyable form of exercise.
If it doesn't get better and really starts to impact my ability to walk several miles a day, I will be beside myself.
