Owowowowowow. My toe has been hurting since last night's run (my toenails in general are a purple mess... whatevs, toenails are for sissies, amirite runners?) Anyhoo, I thought it was time to trim them and apparently I had a blister under the nail of the one that was hurting. And broke it open. And ow.

Guess that's another one that won't see 2013.

I thought I would be really sore after working four shifts in a row and ending up lifting and carrying a bunch of heavy boxes of dollhouses, but somehow I'm not! Even my angry elbow tendon thing is feeling a bit better.

My heelbone still occasionally twinges where I ran over my ankle with a flat cart, though. I am a creature of grace and dignity.

Some muscles in my thighs hurt to the touch from overtraining lunges and squats. That'll teach me. (not!)

for some reason I am extra unaware of myself in space these past few days so I am COVERED in bruises from slamming in to things at all levels. I've got a particularly large bruise on my hip from repeatedly walking in to the same table, and a really gross one on my knee from when I tried to kneel on the floor and hit a screen coater on my way down to the floor.

So sore from yesterday's leg/abs workout. Can barely stand up, because of my butt. And I'm going swimming this afternoon! I will sink like a stone.

ALL of my abs hurt. I can't cough, sneeze, laugh or turn over in bed without having twinges.

My chest! Yesterday I did really strict bench press in 3 sets of 12 reps and I can feel the result of every single one of those reps today.

My legs, especially my right, are just not interested in moving today. I attended a yoga class that was probably a little bit above my level yesterday, and we did a lot of lunges and balancing sort of poses.

Everything! First real run in years and strength training the day before. Feel great, but I look like a creaky old man every time I get up from my desk....

Inner thigh/groin muscles. Still not sure why, probably from running 12 on Saturday and another 5-6 on Monday plus a lot of biking?

My inner thighs/groin get sore when I push the pace running. The faster you're going the harder you push back with/launch off of your rear leg. My coach gave me some exercises to strengthen my inner thighs so I have that power. Hopefully that will make me both faster and less sore afterwards.

Today it's my obliques, from Monday night's strength training class.

I did six of these yesterday on my forearms and yes, I am sore.

Not sore, exactly. But this weekend was so hard and exhausting on my legs. My muscles feel... empty. Yet heavy. And I'm about to start crying because sea's TRX photo is my tomorrow evening.

Bike race next weekend, so spent this weekend doing a whole lot of intense biking. Crazy sore.

My glutes are so sore from my 5k training. My calves and quads are pretty sore as well, but I have a big ball of angry soreness in both of my butt cheeks.

And my right wrist is really sore from bowling?

I was going to go rock climbing today, but I don't get to go often, so I think I'm going to wait until my body isn't so useless.
