Lots of bodyweight exercises on Thursday has given me sore triceps, shoulders, glutes and abs. Ouch.

Every time I do new exercises I'm super sore afterwards, even when I feel like the exercise is easy while working out. I was doing typewriter pullups and triple clap pushups this week, after seeing them in a video and thinking they looked cool. And man am I sore now. I know once my body is used to it it won't be a problem, but those first few sessions suck!

I'm not sore any more than usual, but I am forking beat. I'm about to start tapering for a big race at the end of the month, so this week was full of tough workouts on the bike, including a 12-mile hill climb yesterday followed by sprints. Oy. Bring on the taper.

I wore minimalist shoes during my workout and the muscles in my feet are sore today. I think that's a first.

I've totally screwed my neck somehow by sleeping awkward...I can't turn my head and it's hanging to the left like I can't lift it up. It really, really hurts.

I want to exercise more and do squats and run and be amazing, but my left knee hurts. I push it every Monday at basketball training and although a knee brace and icing does help, I just know I shouldn't push it more than that :(

I should probably stop being dumb and rest it for a few weeks. Maybe do some swimming to keep the fitness level up.

Stupid knees.

I felt very sore today after participating in my first yoga class since ACL reconstruction 4 months ago. It's a great foundation to build on!

my shoulders hurt so much, but not even from the shoulder-heavy yoga I'm doing, but from carving woodblocks for 5 hours today.

We helped friends move. After hiking up and down seven short flights of stairs carrying heavy boxes... I will have to buy new thighs. These are clearly ruined.

Seems like a lot of people have shoulder problems and mine never seem to fully heal. Lately I've just been doing the same thing I do for my crappy knees: apply an ice pack, take ibuprofen (which I hate doing), and I make sure not to over extend or push it to hard.

My triceps are pretty awful at the moment. I have discomfort when I bend my arms past 45 degrees, difficulty feeding/watering myself, washing my hair and the muscles themselves feel swollen. I'm doing RICE, using anti-inflammatories and resting a lot. Hope it starts to clear up soon.

Oh wow, y'all. So for the past five weeks I've had Pilates twice a week, and two dance classes, also twice a week. I am basically never not sore, anymore. I kind of love it? But also hate it. But it's exciting! Also, who wants to come massage me?

I'm pretty much always sore now but when I do curls at the end of my back workout there's a sharp ache between my elbow and the middle of my forearm.. It's really annoying and I think it's a dickhead.

I went to an INSANE spinning class yesterday. I never saw it coming, since I've been to this teacher once before, and the last time was apparently one of his "chill" sessions.

Yesterday's class was so nuts I think my brain went to a different reality for a while just so I could survive. Today EVERYTHING hurts...from my neck down to my tippytoes, but it's that good kind of hurt...or at least...it will be.

So I've been various levels of sore this past week since I decided to exercise regularly again (previously, I was going to the gym like once a week and doing some walking).

Yesterday, I went to a bootcamp class where all the exercises were core focused. I can definitely feel it.

I've done an hour of yoga three times this week. After working certain muscles that apparently rarely get used, I am sooooooo sore today, mostly in my hips. Ouch.

During the work out I was puzzled by all the arm reps it called for (without weights) figuring they were just a waste if time. Now my arms, thighs and calves hurt. Opening doors feels like lifting 140 lbs

ETA: I'm planning a bath tonight with epsom salts. Do you find plain epsom salts to be the best cure with hot water?
