I meant that to come out with more of a wink than it might have. Raspberries are appropriate.

I have a really bad feeling that as the day goes on, my muscles are going to completely lock up. Last night included 40 each of: lunges with the rear foot elevated, push-ups, Romanian deadlifts and dumbbell rows. I started with waaaaaaaaay too heavy of weights.

On Tuesday, I did squats, bench press, single-arm row, triceps extension, curls, overhead press, and some other stuff I can't remember/name.
Then I did a bunch of bike riding and running yesterday, feverishly trying to get it in before the soreness from the squats set in. It didn't really work and now I am a blob of soreness. I feel like one giant bruise.

I started back to spinning class last night after being away from it for a long time. My bum hurts.

Finally. I did some strength training yesterday. Glutes, quads, back, and a little bit of my arms are sore. Yay.

My chest is killing me today. In the strength training group class I take, we did a ton of '15 second drills'--plank for 15 seconds, then push-ups for 15 seconds, then back to plank, and so on for about 3 minutes. Then additional push-ups and 'Spiderman push-ups.'
I have had my fill of push-ups for the week! :)

No matter what I do, the muscles right next to my shin bones are always killing me a day or two after I go for a long walk or jog. I don't even know how to stretch that muscle!

Do you have good shoes? That sounds like shin splints!
I lifted weights for the first time in ages yesterday and my arms and chest started hurting before the day was even over. Bad sign.

Strengthening and stretching my calves helped a lot with the shin pain. That and getting a good shoe fitting/gait analysis. My whole left side is sore from crashing my bike in yesterday's race. My left quad is tight because I wasn't able to stretch it out due to the damage I did to my knee. The sucky part is that I'd have finished that tri feeling awesome if it wasn't for crashing.

omg so forking sore. Unbelievably sore. But none of it is from working out. Unless you call a couple of bounces on a trampoline and then a brutal wipeout "working out." You shouldn't.
Mostly my neck, back, tail bone, and every tiny muscle from mid-biceps to my wrists. I had to change a flight because I can barely lift a book, let alone a backpack that needs to be transported on ferries, busses, and planes. Whine!

I thought I had good shoes, but I guess I never have. I can remember shin pain even back when I was in high school.
My armpits are sore!

Ugh, my fingertips. I mounted a brand-new bike tire on my front rim yesterday and it took me for freakin' ever. I found out belatedly that Michelins are notoriously hard to manipulate. I have a blister on one of my thumbs and every one of my fingertips is tender and sore.
I guess my ripped up knee is still sort of sore. Mostly just because the new skin isn't stretchy yet so it sort of stings every time I bend my knee too far. Don't ever crash your bike, people!

I hooped for almost an hour yesterday! I'm terrible at it but it must have been an okay workout, cause my midsection and upper arms are killing me. And I have a nice bruise on my side.

My quads from Monday still. I did way too many grand plies. I even foam rolled a ton and stretched a lot. Ugh.
