After my old banana seat bike got stolen 15 years ago, I finally got another bike. Brand new "Electra Cruiser 1". Only $199 at Mike's Bikes. jammed down Market street on it tonight and it was sweet! I'm sure many bike purist bay area snobs hate these things...or maybe don't even consider em real bikes or something, but I friggin love it!

You're asking for this pretty late so you get all kinds of flash. The one in front is my late 70's/early 80's Sekai that's become my daily rider and the one in the back is my 90's Trek that I put commuter tires on and ride when it's wet, hence the fender.

This is Woody. He's a touring bike: from the back, fully loaded as he is meant to be. Unloaded, as he is now (a little fuzzy.) Front fender is completely bent, I tried to straighten it out, but part of it snapped. Oh well. I'm probably going to take off the rack and fenders for daily commuting, unless it's raining or I need to cary lots of stuff, they make my bike feel heavier. I haven't ridden in well over 6 months since I had a flare up of my wrist issues, but I should be able to start up again just in time for nice weather. I also need to give him a tune-up, I haven't done that in at least 500 miles. whoops. I love my bike I need to get new handlebar tape.

oooh. well, this is my dirt jumping bike, in its original guise. it's currently stripped down and sat in a box in my spare room though! this is my tough as shiitake HT, a 2006 Cove Stiffee FR. slightly different build to that these days (DH chainring/crank and e.13 chain device swapped out in favour of a 2x9 setup to be slightly more uphill friendly) and this is my 6" travel bouncy bike, a 2008 Norco Six 2. totally stock build, except for a different saddle. with me on it. taken a couple of years ago now.

I finally got around to cleaning the dirt and crepe off my bike today just so I could take pictures and post them. This is my do-everything bike. Commuter, road bike, gravel/dirt path, someday touring bike (this fall if all goes well). Needless to say, I love her. Vegan bike. I don't have a current picture of my Motobecane, maybe tomorrow.

This isn't my actual bike, but it's the same make/color. I don't have shocks or fancy gears though, everything is base model. I just saw that Gary Fisher has a pretty robin's egg blue that I wish I would have been in to at the time that I got this, but it's been nearly 10 years since I bought it! Geesh! I didn't realize it's been that long. Good thing I'm finally putting some miles on it!! I'm seriously coveting something more like this though... OR First I have to prove to myself that I'm a badazz. <3
