Climbed for 2ish hours with my man. Pushed through a hard climb that I didn't make it up last time! It was sloppy, but I'll do it better next time.

All week I've been swimming for at least an hour or two, jogging with my dog, and then a third type of exercise. The other day it was playing frisbee (which eventually turns into wrestling) with my dog, another day it was walking a couple of miles, etc. Even if I don't feel like doing anything, I've been forcing myself to get up and do it and hoping that it'll just become easier the more I do it.

Today was PT day. I'm soooo tired!
5 rounds of 12kg kettlebell snatches (5 on each hand) and 1 minute jumping rope. A circuit of 5 sets with 8kg kettlebells. Each part lasted 50 seconds with a 10 second gap in between. Squats, cleans, shoulder presses and bent over rows. Three 250m rows.

This is motivating! I've been in a rut since I got back from vacationing in Europe to 100+ temperatures at home. I prefer running or walking outside but have to use my condo's lame little workout room, but I digress.
Today I used to weight machine thingy for the first time. I had to put the arms on the lowers weight & they were shaking after 10 reps but I'll keep trying! Then I did 20 minutes on the stationary bike while reading a book. Baby steps!

Yup, thats pretty much what happened the last mile he just started to stop and lay down in the middle of the street and just glare at me.

34 mile ride. Should have been another 15 miles or so but my legs were sorta shot after two runs yesterday.

5k run. 10 minutes on the elliptical. A lovely stretch. I also walk to and from the gym (about .6 mile each way). I like to think of this as a warm up/cool down, though it's mostly just to avoid rush hour traffic.

Meant to climb the stairs at a local college stadium but my ankles were apparently swollen/painful to climb up stairs today. I took some ibuprofen and have been flexing/rolling (while sitting, in the air, not like twisting them!) them all day. Hopefully that'll help wednesday when I go back to the stadium.
Instead, my workout was a bike ride along the river! So pretty! I might do that instead of the stadium on monday mornings starting now.

30 sections of the stadium seating in 39 minutes exactly (well, 38:58, but I couldn't hit stop on my timer correctly the first time lol). Biking to work. Biking from work to therapy (which is ~10 miles away). Biking home from there.

Three minutes of glute bridges. Five sets of ten 12kg snatches on each arm alternating with 30 seconds running on a kinetic treadmill. Ten minutes of 250ml rowing followed by ten 12kg clean and press on each arm. Three sets of thirty 20kg kettlebell swings followed by ten burpees (had to take breaks during this to counter nausea). Some plank exercises to help me prepare my upper body for full press-ups. I've mastered press-ups on my knees but full ones are a real labour).

Yesterday 5k run on the cliff top. Then an hour ride. Today had a beautiful long walk along some beautiful headland cliffs in fantastic sunshine.
