Going for a swim with a co-worker after work today. Yesterday I had Bootcamp and I love the relaxing, muscle-lengthening feeling of bobbling through the water when I'm sore all over.

~4 mi run. Was supposed to have been a heart rate test to update training zones but my heart rate monitor hates cold dry weather and gives me ridiculous readings like 227bpm even though I am demonstrably not a fetus.

High intensity (tempo/threshhold) ride on the trainer followed by a core class.

I ran on the treadmill in our condo's exercise room because it's too ugly out to run outside today. I really dislike the treadmill and I loathe going down to use it, but once I get started I really get into it. I usually keep a really steady, even pace when running outside throughout the 5Kish distance in the park, but on the treadmill I usually grade up the incline and speed so it's exerting in a different way. It shuts off after half an hour though so that's all I did--it said I ran over two miles though so that's about what I do on my outside running route. It was a good run and I'll have to use it now pretty much till around March, around the time the snow and ice melts. It's too friggin cold for me to run outside in the winter.
