I love to excercise! I really do. I started about 6 months ago, lost 25lbs so far but am not loosing much anymore. Actually, my weight is staying the same, not really moving too much. But I am getting stronger.
I am training for a half-marathon, so I do a lot of running, mostly on the tread mill. I also lift weights, I have a bunch of dumbells and a barbell with some weights for it downstairs in my basement. I do a 2 hour work out 4 days a week. The other 3 days are recovery (rest). I run 5 - 6 miles on the treadmill (watching TV helps a LOT). Then I spend an hour lifting weights. I run about 10min/mil, so it takes about an hour to run 6 miles. Weight lifting is stuff like: shoulder presses, bench presses, back squats, weighted lunges, lateral raises, hammer curls, DB curls, incline bench presses, Dumbbell flyes, crunches.....etc. I do 3 sets of 15 reps each excercise, and try to increase the weight about once per month or so.
And who said that we couldn't get big on a vegan diet? I keep getting compliments on the way I look. Makes me feel good. Yeah!!

It's taken me a while to get the technique down (I'm still learning) but the weights are increasing slightly all the time now. Today's routine was the following: - Three one minute glute bridges. - Six minutes shoulder exercises with a 2kg clubbell. - Six sets of a 14kg kettlebell routine. Ten two handed swings, ten hand-to-hand swings, five single handed swings, five snatches and five push presses on both sides. - Four sets of one minute on the 'deadmill' and one minute hitting a punchbag. Cumulatively I lifted 4.2 tonnes today. I'm going to feel it in two days time.

I am not a big exerciser but I actually had a workout today, so I am going to post.
1 beginner yoga class! Yay!
And the usual short dog walk. The walk is short. Not the dogs. Well, they are pretty short...

Indoor Walking class at the gym. I tried it for the first time. It's like spinning but on some kind of cross trainer. At first I didn't feel like it was that hard, but in the end I was really dripping and exhausted in all my limbs. Will do it again for sure!

Ran 3.2 K according to my the new running plan I signed up to yesterday. Easy and slow, I ran in the oh so bright sunshine. It's just above freezing but the sun warms up really much. Love it!
