5.5 mile run and New Rules. Felt great after 2 days of sitting on my bum working 13 hours at a stretch the last few days.

Haven't stopped working out, just been away from the ppk for a couple of days... Today was upper body workout. Lowered the weights on bench press and incline bench press to work on form. Upped the reps on barbell row, lat pulldowns (only in the first set though, don't know what happened there), lat raises and triceps pulldowns. Upped the weights on cable bicep curl.

May gains are starting to come in slower. Maybe I need to up my calories or something.

So I did 60 min weights yesterday. I'm so tired today. I don't think I'm recovering as well as I need to be. Any advice?

45 minute spin on the trainer with 3x3 minutes at high cadence/threshold HR, 10 minute easy jog with 2x30 seconds strides. Just easy race facilitation stuff.

An hour of weights is a lot! Especially if you're lifting heavy. Are you eating enough to support muscle growth and recovery? Are you sleeping enough?

I need tons of sleep and tons of food the day after lifting.

It's not constant 60 min but it's a good portion of that time. No, I don't sleep enough anyway, so I think that is contributing to my exhaustion. I am eating enough. On the weekends, I nap up a storm.

Yay MToes!!!

75ish mile bike ride that felt like a 40 miles ride because I was going from Southern NH to Boston. (ie, LOTS of downhill). The reverse wore my quads OUT.

40 sections of the local college stadium. Been feeling kinda sluggish recently and my time reflects that-over 40 minutes which means over 1 minute per section. Still a good workout though.

Glute bridges. Jerks and snatches with 8, 10, 12 and 14kg kettlebells. Swings and cleans with 16kg. Farmer holds with 2 x 20kg. Planks with my elbows on a Swiss ball (couldn't manage more than 32 seconds. That shiitake is tough!).
