Finished week 5 of C25K by running 20 minutes straight! I think I went about 1 3/4 miles, so if I up my pace a bit, I'll be at my goal of 10 minute miles. Whee! It didn't even feel awful.

Nice one!
I did a 30 minute run with a "mowing the lawn" cool down and an hours ride.

Well done what a great achievement. That must be so motivating for you.

Yep! It's one of the hardest things I've done, and it makes me (almost) feel good about myself!

I think you should feel proud of yourself. Everyone who's committed to a fitness plan and stuck to it knows how challenging it is to commit to a fitness plan and stick to it!

I started exercising on the regular in January when my boyfriend and I split up. We're back together, but I'm still exercising. It saves my sanity every day. This morning I went to an hour and fifteen minute gentle-type yoga class followed by an hour long body conditioning class, which is anything but gentle. Then my boyfriend and I went on a five mile walk. Mondays are my favorite exercise day.

Team track workout, main set was 8x400 at sub-5k pace. I did the first 6 with my sister at about the right pace, then the last 2 with some faster ladies at sub-sub-5k pace.

Week 6 day 2 of C25K! The thing said to run 10 minutes or 3/4 of a mile. I've made it my goal to run 10 minute miles, and the loop I run is 3/4 of a mile the whole way round. On the first 10 minute jog, I made it just exactly back to my starting point, and on the second one, I went past it! Yay, almost at my goal! Keeping up the pace is challenging, but it makes me feel so accomplished when I cross that starting point in the amount of time I had planned.

ETA: Also, it's pretty crazy to me that I've been running for 3 days a week for the past 6 weeks. That's the longest I've done any sort of exercise plan of my own volition. It really helps to have a goal. I've also been doing a power yoga video Tues, Thurs, and sometimes Sat, so that's 5-6 days a week of working out. I never thought I'd be doing this, and willingly!

Squats/rows/pushups/step ups/ab thingy. Probably ~15-18 miles of biking.
