Team track workout. Main set was 3x800 at ~15 seconds/mile faster than 10k race pace. Followed by some core work.

3km run (I ran the whole first kilometre without stopping, for the first time ever - doesn't sound like much, but I'm excited) and a bunch of fairly disorganised push-ups/modified chin-ups/modified pull-ups/tricep dips throughout the day.

continuing the "be careful" routine while i make sure my knee isn't doing anything stupid...

did the elliptical on monday, tuesday, and today but with no resistance and am building my time back up (25 min yesterday and today). also doing abs & stretching, always... plus squats on monday and today.

i've hit the annoying part in my process, where i'm like, "but i've worked out for 12 of the last 14 days, and i haven't even lost ONE pound, WHINE WHINE WHINE" etc. so that's fun.

Drove all the way to the pool and then started to feel really sick so I came home again. Figured if I felt sick enough to want to leave despite having already paid for entry and having to awkwardly bail on my friend, I was sick enough to justify skipping my swim.

I ran! Not long, not fast, but I ran and my lungs didn't hurt! I counted the streetlights (is that the right word?) and ran for two, then walked for three, for half an hour!

yesterday: 45 minutes easy run, chest and back workout

today: 20 min warm up, 30min tempo run (8.3km), 15 min cool down
shoulders, biceps and triceps workout
