Yesterday: 20 minute easy run on the dreadmill, 1500 yard swim (which was supposed to be much longer but, hey, I got to the gym and got into the pool so I am calling it a victory)

Thursday: hour ride on the trainer with 3 sets of single leg drills
Today: 35 minute run with 3x3' hill repeats (6%+ grade)

Friday: Shoulders, biceps, triceps-- 35 min elliptical. 10 min swimming
Saturday: 70 min running

10 min swimming

Today on the calendar was Insanity: The Asylum Volume 2 "Power Legs"

omgggggg, that thing kills me every single time!

No way can you plateau with Asylum. There's too much to master and with that blasted agility ladder you really have to concentrate on not tripping over it, lol. With Volume 2, almost every dvd involves free weights, so with Power Legs, there is a series of kettle bell swings (with dumbbells), resistance band footwork (egads!), and a ton of other things that make you need to keep a bucket nearby, lol!

Five sets of snatches with 12kg.
Tabata intervals of squat thrusters and 20kg double handed swings.
Planks on a Swiss ball.
Static holds.

Swing-snatch warm up with 10kg and 12kg.
Sets of 12kg jerks totaling 12 mins.
100 snatches.
4 mins of overhead quarter squats.
12 minute circuit of deadlifts, push-ups and v-twists.

5x5 rows and squats.

Did the first day of couch 25k. Not a huge workout, not very intense, but the first bit of any exercise I've done since July. I've been in a funk and it felt good to be moving in a way other than from sitting to laying to slouching. My body felt good and I had the energy to come home and tackle a mountain of laundry. Hooray for moving your body!
