Trying to get back into working out because I'm too sedentary lately--due to the nature of my paying desk job and then my writing and working from home at all these things so I'm not even doing just city type walking to bus stops or subway stations or to grab lunch and stuff--so I'm trying to make myself go down to my condo's fitness room treadmill every morning and speed walk (working up to a slow run for the last fifteen minutes or so) for forty minutes to get some motion and action back into my life.

30 mins on the elliptical level 1 going slow. I was all takin' her easy, that's how we do workin' out today. The walls in my condo's fitness room are mirrored and the elliptical movement makes you look like a gazelle. A gazelle in plaid shorts and an Elvis T-shirt (my fitness garb for today) and I watched an episode of Til Debt Do Us Part.

Footy's streak is in no danger, though. I don't have his kind of gumption for this.

110 burpees, 100 squats, 100 bridges, and a brutal set of unending stairs on my way home. Yesterday I managed 15,000+ steps including a run!

Did some strength training. My squatting is terrible! I'm telling myself there's no hurry to add weight, but I'm getting a little discouraged. I think it's my back that is too weak to keep straight at the bottom of the squat.

Jerks with an 8, 10, 12, 16, and 18kg kettlebell (18 is an uncommon one and I've never jerked that much weight before).
Swing snatches and regular snatches with a 12kg.
