Yesterday's workout for me was an easy 8km (I accidentally pushed the pace a bit a little too close to tempo pace. Oops!)
Today is light cross-training with a simple glute, leg and core routine

Yesterday: 8 mile run with the middle 4 miles at half marathon race pace
Today is suppsed to be a 30 minute open water swim and some strength/core work. It's raining (and it's Friday the 13th...) so I may skip the swim.

Last night was track with the team, but it's race week for me so I had my own workout (short and sweet, love race week!) Warmup, drills, 3x1200 at 10k race pace with 400 active recovery, cool down.

Today I have a 30 minute run with 3x2' at 5k race pace, and a 20 minute open water swim

Easy 8km run
Ripped class with friends after work

I'm getting a little tired of these shorter (for me) distances. I've been really killing my paces lately, so much so that what used to be my tempo pace is pretty close to my easy pace now, but I'm itching for some longer distances. I'm also heading to a strength class after work with some pals. I have been neglecting my strength workouts for a little while now. I hope my arms don't fall off.

Jogged 2 miles on the treadmill at the gym. Not bad because I haven't been running in a few months. Maybe I can handle the 5k this weekend. I plan on practicing a but of ballroom dance before bed.

Been working hard on handless headstands this week. Skull has gotten used to the pressure of my full bodyweight, but my neck is still a long way from being able to maintain steady balance.

Didn't get a second of sleep last night. Went out and finished another 50 km bike ride. It was hella windy though!
