I went ahead and ordered Cize. I'm a sucker for Shaun T.

Haha! I'm going to try T25 some day. I hope you've got it by now, Hollie, and I hope you love it! :)

I just tried the second workout of Cize this morning. It was kind of confusing, but I feel like I'd definitely nailed the hard parts at the beginning by the end. Admittedly did not ever nail some of the parts at the end, and my DVD skips a little during an explanation of one or two of the moves, so I was a little confused... but I had fun doing it.

Just completed block 1 (4 weeks) of P90X3 and started block 2. I am working out again after a super long baby break (said baby is now 20 months old!), so mostly doing modifier exercises. Anyone else doing P90X3 here? I am not seeing much weight loss, but my diet could be cleaner for sure - more salad and veg rich and I cave in and have sweets now and then. I do feel stronger though.

Not many P90x3 vegan blogs out there and I've looked. So I decided I'll start writing my own posts as I work through it - just need to find time.

Cooking my healthy protein rich meals and packing lunches for me and the kid and full day at work is taking up ALL my time though!

I have BB on demand, but I've never done any of the P90-ones because I don't have the equipment. What stuff do you need for P90x3?

I'm almost finished with week 2 of Insanity, and I feel awesome. I'm so committed I did it in my hotel room yesterday! That really doesn't sound like something I'd do at all. Ha.

I wrote a little on mine but I stopped following the plan quickly because I wanted more intensity. I do them sporadically, sometimes in combo or added to something else. I LOVE CVX and the MMX one. The warrior is good too for traveling. I really don't like the yoga one; it feels so disjointed.

Good job! Insanity I think will always be my favorite thing. I did it consistently for like 5 years and am now in a long break from it bc I work out in a gym mostly, but I miss it so much! I just want to be bff with ShaunT.

After 3-ish weeks of Insanity (4, if you count the last week when I skipped a couple workouts) I started to get a little bored/overwhelmed by it, so I mixed it up with Cize on Saturday, running on Sunday, and T25 yesterday. Before, when I did T25, I followed Tania (the modifier) about 80% of the time and took 5-10 second breaks here and there. But after doing Insanity, I was able to do about 90% NON-modified and only followed Tania when I needed a quick breather. Whoooooo! It felt really good.

I started doing insanity but I am modifying, modifying, modifying.

Also, BB is coming out with a 3 week yoga program that is available only online and a new boxing program. I decided to sign up for the online challenge pack where you get 3 months of their streaming content (which includes Insanity and others) and a container of Shakeology for $140. I also signed up to be a coach because apparently it is free if you do it as part of a challenge pack. I'm not sure how long I'll do it and I don't think I'll really try to sell it but the discount for programs and shakeology will make it worth it to me. Plus I can sell my DVDs and just do streaming.

If anyone hasn't done streaming before, basically you get all the programs you have bought free plus any of the 'older' programs free. So all the insanity programs are free, P90x programs, etc. I don't have body beast but it is $9 if I want to add it or I can wait until it is released.

I have their On Demand, but for some reason the "app" doesn't work very well on my Roku (it keeps stopping to load), so I have to do it from the laptop rather than the TV.

I hurt myself last Thursday doing T25, and I was going to do week 4 over starting today, but my quad still isn't 100% and I don't want to injure it further. So I'm just gonna do a Cize workout today instead, because there are no squats or lunges to aggravate it.

I need a better coach, for real. If mine sends me another recipe for a chicken casserole, I'm going to find her and throw her down a well.

I've been using Chromecast from my laptop although there is an IOS app that I haven't tried yet.

I'd be careful with your quad even if you aren't doing squats/lunges. Remember RICE (Rest, Ice, compress, elevate). When I hurt my hamstring in June, I majorly screwed up and it actually ended up messing up my hip, which is still healing.

I'm also thinking of doing something crazy like videotaping my poor attempts because I figure there aren't enough big girls out there showing what they are doing. I may tape it and then not post it but we'll see.

I sat with it wrapped in an Arctic Ease bandage most of the weekend. It's "better" but I can still feel the little tweakiness every now and then.

I just need to move after resting!

I did "You Got This" (the song is "Treasure") and it felt so good! It's kinda long, but I love the part at the end where the moves sync with the song. It's so rewarding. haha.

The quad bugs me when I do stuff on one leg, but it was mostly painless.

Today was my rest day and I am glad for it, this week has been tough.

I think I'm going to do the Health Bet challenge. I've never done it before but it sounds like if you workout and drink shakeology for a month, you split a pooled prize. I'm sure it'll be something like $5 each :)

3 week yoga retreat came out today and I watched part of the video to get an idea (I'm starting next week with a group) and it looks good! They have modifiers and it is pretty beginner friendly. I'm pretty excited.

I love that Shaun's husband Scott is in it, too. hehe. And I love Tania.

Yes! I keep forgetting which one was his hubby but I love Shaun so much and Tania is great.

I did the 3 week yoga retreat this morning and I was sweating. I was surprised how much I was able to do.

Oh wow. I don't know if I could do Yoga Retreat. I have zero flexibility, and I have never liked yoga -- I like things more fast-paced, I guess.

One of my good friends just became a BB coach, and I want to switch to her, but I don't know how to/don't want to hurt my current coach's feelings (even if she DOES keep sending me recipes for meat dishes).

I don't look at this thread much, but I'm glad I did today! Linanil, your cat is cute, you're awesome at yoga, and I'm hella jealous of your squat rack.
