P90x is a bit long, 60-65(not including adding on Ab Ripper) minutes so wherever you can fit that in your day. Again, I do like morning because it is done and I don't have to worry about trying to make time later in the day.

So excited for you Boober!! Keep us posted on how much you love Tonyisms! I'm going to add more Tony into my life; I've been dating ShaunT exclusively for too long now and I miss Tony's lame jokes.

also, I've mostly been running or biking as exercise with no other strength training at all for the past 2 years and I am learning I have NO core strength at all. I straight up could not do like half of the ab ripper section. I mean, this is my first day so obvs I am feeling hella weak but I'd just like, not be able to sit up at all! crazy! fun!

i did not do P90X2 - it looked bat crepe crazy! hubs was supposed to get me P90X3 for christmas but he probably hasn't so I'll get it myself.

boober, recently if I work out at night i get terrible heartburn. my new plan is get it done ASAP during the day or it ain't happening.

Hell I STILL can't do all of ARX. It's the greatest/hardest ab workout ever!
I want to get P90X3 but I also kind of want Asylum. I can't afford both so I am deliberating. I should just do P90X fully again but I love Insanity workouts too much. I need to come up with a good hybrid.
I wish I could return that RevABs set I got on groupon last year and use it as credit towards P90X3 but I don't think that's possible. I'll ask Tony.

Day 2! appifanie- I did morning yesterday and evening tonight and I am also dealing with some ridic heartburn right now so I think I'm going to use your morning method!

oh my god I just finished polymetrics and I am very sweaty.
also my legs are super jiggly after that!

does anyone have balance tips? I have really awful balance so sometimes when I jump I have trouble with staying upright (for an example of my bad balance, in normal relaxing/low impact yoga I have trouble staying upright in warrior pose)

randi- what about the insanity workouts do you love? just curious, I am sort of new to the world of at-home workouts so I am super curious. I'm only doing p90x because it was free for me.

Yay Boober go you! Appi's right, it's all about building your strength and your core. I never believed that but now when I wobble I will 'engage my core' and steady myself. It's prettayyy cool. I still fall though.
I don't know why I love Insanity. I think knowing it's sooo hard helps me feel better about still having trouble with it sometimes after 2 years, haha. And I always feel good after, beaten and exhausted but good. Mostly, I guess it's not boring, and that's what I need. I do need to cut back because all the jumping (so much jumping!) I think is wearing down my ankles and knees, and that's not good.

I prefer to work out in the morning after breakfast (I can't exercise when I'm hungry!), although I get up at 5am and don't usually exercise until 10 (when my husband gets up and is able to watch the kids).

Just dropping in to see how everyone is doing! I'm not doing a Beachbody program now but I AM committed to doing ARX once per week. The strength program I'm doing works the core from all the stabilizing but doesn't have a dedicated abs workout so I'm throwin' it into the rotation just so whenever I revisit P90X I'm not starting from scratch.

Boober, another tip with balancing (I'm thinking specifically with yoga) is to focus on one spot. If I don't pick a spot and focus during half moon or dancer, guaranteed i'm falling on my asparagus. It really helps.

I am tempted to get P90X3 and follow through with the diet part, too. But I'm afraid of re-injuring my shoulder and other things (like maintaining motivation over 90 days). My other excuse is that because my house has a relatively wimpy foundation, it shakes like crazy if I jump indoors.

But I'm still thinking about it....

Are you looking for a commitment partner? Because I might be interested in doing that.

Appi did you get it? I'm going to order it now! Except it says 10% off for Beachbody members, and I'm signed in and it's not giving it to me. Is it because I'm a free member not a paying member?

Ah that makes sense :) Yes I had the deal with free shipping, "On One Leg", and the hat! I'm so excited for the hat (ha, no). I can't believe I ordered it, and today I have this weird shooting pain in my calf. I hope I don't have a stress fracture :/

Would you get it if he hasn't? We could all start together! Haha that would be so lame/fun.
