good job quagga!

I have two goals right now, one of them is getting 7000 steps/day and the other is doing p90x3. My legs have also been protesting somewhat so today was an elliptical day instead of p90x3.

Yeah, Rockin' is a Shaun T product. I've been eyeing both and they both look fun. Just waiting to see which one I can get a deal on.

Ooh fun swaps! If anyone is interested, I have the RevAbs system that I don't really want. It's not bad but I've outgrown it.

I tried Dynamix this morning. It was nice but I hate moves where you have to put one knee down and put weight on it, like those hip and hammie stretches. It seems so dangerous for knee caps! Do not like. I'm so scared of hurting my knees.

I've completed four weeks of P90X3! My check in is tomorrow...new pics and measurements. I am way stronger than I was on day 1 and no injuries. If anything, my shoulder is stronger than ever. Good stuff.

I just did day one of the P90 Master program and I like it a lot. I tried P90 but it was too easy and boring but I also know I'm not ready for P90X yet. P90M is the perfect bridge. A hard workout but not so hard that it's discouraging, and a lot more options than just the two videos of P90.

Holy God, Sweat 5-6 worked my asparagus off! And I'm kind of in love with Tony Horton. This is SO much better than P90.

The P90 Masters set of videos looks pretty good! Keep pushing play!

I have to go do P90X3 MMX now. I didn't think I'd like martial arts punching and kicking, but this workout got me more sore than any of the others. Also more sweaty.

Oh, and my Day 30 check in metrics were virtually the same as on Day 1 and my weight has barely changed. But I haven't been actively dieting, and I am not about building bulk. I know that I'm stronger, because each time I repeat a workout, I'm able to do it better than the last time. I'm also glad that the scale hasn't been creeping upwards!

I'm so excited to try X3 MMX. I love the idea of it. Can't yet because my videos are STILL IN TEXAS AHHHHHH.

I've been doing Insanity more until I get them back, plus Yoga X. So I have a new puppy, we've had him for less than a month, and he is adorbs and amazing. But when I exercise he likes to jump right under my feet and lick my legs, or during yoga, lie on my mat and stretch with me. It is HILARIOUS but I have to keep pausing and try to move him bc I don't want to land on him!!! Little puppies are so dumb and so freaking cute.

I'm a week and a half in to doing P90M and enjoying it. I have so much more energy the rest of the day! I can see now that, though I was working out before, I really wasn't putting the necessary level of intensity into it.

I had to take most days off during the past few weeks because I thought I had bronchitis or something terrible, couldn't stop coughing or breathing. Turns out I'm allergic to my new dog! On new allergy meds and hopefully it will help me not pass out when I try to exercise. I've never known allergies that interfere with breathing! All of mine have just been sniffly ones. Aahhh. Thank god puppy is adorbs.

My turbo jam came today! It's not turbofire, but whatever, no biggie. I did the Learn and Burn already, it definitely made me sweat and it was fun, just the right amount of challenging and easy to make easier/harder. It'll take a while to master the moves but at least I started!

I lost momentum in block three of P90X3, but just started another round with my buddies. I'm planning on doing better this time around. But still, starting Day 1 this time is SO different from starting Day 1 last time -- as in, I can actually do some real pushups this time instead of pushups on my knees. Go me! :)

I tried MMX for the first time today. I really liked it! I can't tell if it is harder than Kenpo (or different, really, except with sprawls, (I don't see how that makes it 'MMX' and not just karate or whatever but whatever!)) but I enjoyed it! I had to watch the first few seconds of each move and then rewind bc there was no instruction but I'm sure I'll like that aspect once I get more familiar with it.
