I searched for a similar thread but didn't see one...
I'm hoping other people can chime in with some workouts for absolute beginners (preferably videos). I'm overweight and just now starting to exercise, so many workouts are just too difficult for me so far and I'm getting tired of the same ones. Thought it might be good to have a space to post some beginner workouts or exercises.
Post 'em if you got 'em!
*Please, no videos/programs you have to pay for!*
Here's a good one I've found, there's 5 parts, FYI

Some of my favorite workouts (and they can be adjusted to your level - just keep moving) are the Leslie Sansone walk at home dvds. They are not on streaming, but they have a good supply of them for the mail service. She has various levels of them too, the description can probably help you pick. http://movies.netflix.com/WiSearch?oq=leslie+sansone&ac_posn=-1&v1=leslie+sansone&search_submit=
On streaming they have lots of fitness videos too. Most of the ones I've seen seem a little harder, but it's definitely a place to look. When I'm feeling stiff or need a light day, I like the Healing Yoga for Aches and Pains. http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/Healing_Yoga_For_Aches_and_Pains/60024777?trkid=2361637 There are others in the Healing Yoga series, but this is the only one I've used.
Also, don't forget the beauty of walking!

YES. I used to do no exercise at all, but my husband and I started with 30 minute walks around our neighborhood and I got addicted so quickly. Now I'm a runner but I still try to walk at least a few times a week. It's not hard on your body and it's just nice to be outside!

Do you think walking helps much if its already what I do at work? I am a waitress so I just figured since I walk all day, it might not help too much...unless there's something I don't know...

Well, it's definitely better than nothing, and I think it's different from the kind of walking you do at work. My husband walks 3 miles every day as his only exercise and insists it keeps him sane and fit.
