On week six and finding it difficult to break the 50 push ups mark on the final set. Can see me having to repeat week six a fair few times to get to 100.

So i started last night, doing "girl" pushups. Instead of doing the test I started W1D1 in the middle bracket and am not really feeling sore or anything. In between sets i would push back into child's pose to stretch out my arms and shoulders while I rested. I am going to do it again tonight but in front of a mirror to make sure my form is okay. I feel like I should be hurting at least a little considering I have literally no upper body strength.

Ok, I just started. I skipped to week 3, following the instructions based on my first test. I had been doing a fair amount of pushups just prior to this, which is, I'm assuming, why it worked out that way. I am actually between sets as I write this, but I think this first session will be fine. But check back with me on Wednesday to see how that one goes.

Just finished week 3, day 2. It looks so far like soreness and general "life getting in the way" will prevent me from doing the "weeks" in actual calendar weeks. Maybe it will get easier, though.

Week 3, day 3 this morning. Still going fine except for the timing. On to the next exhaustion test.

I finished week three about a week and a half ago, but then I got sick. I foolishly tried to pick up right at week four after that hiatus. It kicked my asparagus up and down the street, but I did manage.

Bump -- anyone still doing this? I did W1D1 tonight. I'm going to have to start out with knees down, I think. I do two regular and I'm just tapped out.
I miss being strong! I used to do about 2X20 of the one-legged type. Sob.
Any advice on how/when to try doing the regular version? Like maybe go knees-down for six weeks and then see how I feel? Thoughts? Anyone want to join me?

Did W1D2 today -- definitely feeling sore, in that good productive way. Yay!

Really cool to find this thread. I started with W3D1. I'm now at W5D2. I definitely don't follow it to a "T". I take as many days in between as I think I need and I take longer time in between sets. I'm going to repeat this week till I can get to at least 50 reps. on my last set (exhaustion set). I made it to 35 last time. That's still 175 push ups in a small amount of time. Tomorrow is my day of pain. Can't wait.

Yay! Go Crust! I'm excited someone else is doing this. And you're doing so awesome it gives me hope. Did W1D3 today. I'm feeling stronger already!
Keep us posted!

Ok, I repeated W5D2 yesterday. Instead of doing every set, I did the first 5 and then did my exhaustion set. I was able to hit 50 reps! That felt good. Like I said, I'm not following the program exactly as written, but as long as I reach the goal of 100 consecutive I'll be happy. Thanks " iamnotapottedplant"! Keep up the good work!

50 reps! Holy moly! That's awesome!
I did W2D1 Friday night. Going well so far. Fingers crossed!

I'm bringing this thread back from the dead. I'm starting back on this, although I just got a one-for-all app that does pushups, situps, squats, dips, and pullups, so I"m not sure if my numbers are 100% on track with the real program.
Anyone else still doing this or wanting to start back up? My W1D1 gave me a total of 30. Woo!

I'm doing this! I'm doing pushups one day and situps/squats the other day. Though I started in week three for both situps and squats so I don't know what I'll do when I'm done those ones. W1D3 for me today, I just gotta make myself actually do it!

Week 2 and I've shocked myself with the discovery that I actually really like pushups. Words I never thought I'd say. Yay exercise!
