Layered Pumpkin Cake?

I've been asked to make a layered gluten-free pumpkin cake for someone's birthday but I have minimal experiance with baking gluten-free. Does anyone have a recipe they can share or has anyone made the recipe from VCTOTW gluten-free? Any tips or suggestions would really be appreciated.

I am looking for a great gluten free cake recipe for my friends........especially if I can make Isa's vegan pumkin chocolate chip recipe. Biut finding a gf cake recipe that passes for regular is hard, have you had any luck?
