When I googled this it was mostly anti-GMO sites talking about it (unsurprisingly). One of the authors, Stephanie Seneff seems to have quite a relationship with the Weston A Price Foundation (http://people.csail.mit.edu/seneff/
) and a dodgy sounding list of papers ("Nutrition and Alzheimer's Disease: The Detrimental Role of a High Carbohydrate Diet," "Might cholesterol sulfate deficiency contribute to the development of autistic spectrum disorder?," "How Statins Really Work Explains Why They Don't Really Work," etc).
Then I found this - http://www.examiner.com/article/bogus-p ... e-internet
It's bullshiitake. Funny that both articles were on the Examiner.
