I've used that flour before with a little xanthan gum to make gluten free cake and it worked fine. Good luck :)
Thanks Rosie, I've never used a pre-mixed flour for g/f cakes I usually make the one from VCTOW but it seemed like it'd be all wrong for scones!
I used the Dove's Farm mix plus the xanthan gum and they have a thumbs up from me, Nick and the friend who's staying with us. Now I just need to see what my wheat free friend and my vegan chef friend (Eeek!) think tomorrow!
