I would love to get this book for someone who is allergic to wheat (pretty sure she does not have celiac). Have you guys had a lot of success modifying these recipes to make them GF? Any other suggestions for vegan-themed gifts? It's for a secret santa at work, and the person in question has dabbled in veganism but definitely doesn't stick to it. I want to show her it is easy and delicious!

Yes, buy it! I have made lots of the cookies gluten free usually with brown rice, tapioca & potato flours incl. Citrus Glitters, PB Oatmmeal (quinoa flakes instead of oats), Carrot Raisin Spiced cookies.

This is awesome to know. Does anyone else have any recs for gf cookies from this book? Do you guys use your own blend or Isa's flour blend in the book? I am making cookies for gift baskets this year and want to impress the gf omni's but sadly have little time to experiment with 2 kiddos.

I made the plain sugar cookies GF last year with Isa's GF mix. I made them with a little peppermint flavor and made peppermint icing. (I cut them out as snowflakes. :) ) Everyone loved them. If those are too plain for you, I've also made the Linzertorte Thumbprint cookies GF with the same mix, and they were fab.
