Me too! I need a Christmas dinner dessert. I'm making tofurky for my dad (I may eat some) and I have a tempeh/cider recipe and I'm going to make mashed potatoes (I'm interested in http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/aart ... index.html but I don't think that meshes w/ my other plans) and stuffing for my dad and I don't really know what else.

Sorry I wasn't on here in time for Christmas, but if anybody's interested in anything for the future... My sister and I made pretty traditional stuff: GF chickpea cutlets (while making the cutlets I made 2 batches - 1 as tenders that I made mustard-maple sauce for dipping) Gravy Mashed potatoes sweet potato-pear tzimmes (vcon - no subs needed) Stuffing (out of brown rice bread) pumpkin pie cranberry sauce (from vegan brunch but without the ginger - no subs needed) various fresh vegetables I also attempted a new biscuit recipe - fail.
In the weeks leading up to it, we also made lots of cookies to give away and take to parties, etc: choc chip choc chip chai shortbread ginger sparkles gingerbread cutouts chocolate cutouts peanut apple pretzel drops lazy samoas
Somehow I didn't manage to get one picture of anything!

How do you do the cutlets GF? I have been very tempted but haven't decided upon a method yet. Thanks in advance!

Thank you for posting that! When I told the boy I'd be going gf in the new year, he squeaked "But what about chickpea cutlets?"

If you do try them, could you go back and post on the blog how they differ from the originals? I'm sure people who have had the originals would appreciate that before they try these and I'm just curious.
