It's so pretty! I want to eat it!

I just looked at those ingredients and said, "Eh, my v-cooking skills are so not ready. Maybe next time". This is lovely. How did it taste?

oh wow, looks great!

and ozma, yes, it tasted good. I had a to make a lot of adjustments to the sauce to make it not taste like dessert.

This was Alex and my entry! He did like all the work, but we thought up the idea and I offered moral support! And took pictures! And really just made a shirt while he was cooking! I just want credit, damnit!

Anyway, it's blackberyy lobia (black eyed pea) kofta with chocolate-tamarind and mint chutneys over basmati rice. Plus papadums!

I watch this show with my boyfriend and am always excited to think of what we would do to make a vegan dish. You guys took it to a whooooole different level. I want awl-ov-it.

My entry -Black eyed Pea, Collard, Mint, chocolate Pizza crust, topped with Blackberry Tomato chutney, cauli and grape tomatoes.
Side salad -Spinach, Blackberries, Mint topped with Chocolate Balsamic dressing.

Returning to the PPK after a long hiatus (and with a new username!). Anyway, here's my entry:

Portobello Steaks with Bittersweet Blackberry Sauce
Black Eyed Rutabaga Puree
Green Bean Salad with Mint Gremolata

Surprisingly, the puree is my favorite part. SO GOOD. I was eating spoonfuls of it all evening. Cause I'm classy like that. :)
