First attempt at the Cowboy Cookies from VCIYCJ. I think they turned out okay, though maybe I could have flattened them more:

I made them for the astronomy tea&cookies we have every Tuesday afternoon, which isn't for a few hours. The one I taste tested was really yummy, but I'll post an update when other people try them!

Agreed; flavour is the best detail!

I'm really bad at aesthetics. I don't think I've ever had anything turn out the way the picture looked in any cookbook, ever. Except maybe chocolate chip cookies.
