Birthday cakes

I found some old pictures of birthday cakes so thought I'd give them to the food porn cause. The first is my sister's 18th girly volcano cake. It's chocolate sponge layered with chocolate buttercream, with chocolate frosting on the outside, pink drizzle "lava" and white chocolate "ash". The chocolate frosting on the outside is actually amazing! I adapted it from Delia Smith so I'm not really bragging ;) It goes "tacky" on the surface so you can touch it and it doesn't come off on your fingers!

The cake! Sadly don't have any pics with sparklers; they're on my sister's camera.

That volcano cake is the cutest thing I've ever seen. It must have looked awesome with sparklers!
