Nothing better than having a roommate who scores free bagels from work all the time. A perfect vehicle for my kale pesto (besides kale chips the only way I can handle kale)

Kale pesto sounds amazing! I'm always looking for ways to make kale palatable.

Kale pesto sounds awesome! Is it storebought or do you make it yourself?

homemade..I just put it in an old veganaise container

1 bunch kale
2 cups walnuts
5 cloves garlic
3 TB nooch
2 TB miso

all in a food processor
you could add some oil...I try to minimize my oil usage so Ill just put in water a TB at a time once its started being processed to get the right consistancy...also sometimes the kales more bitter than others..so I'll salt and pepper to taste if the miso doesnt salt it up enough

Thanks! Do you remove the stems from the kale or just blend the whole bunch?

Amazing! I used to work at a bagel shop way when and always used to bring home bagels. Big grocery bags full. And when they went stale, we'd have bagel wars. Ah, to be young.

The kale pesto sounds great, too. I'm going to have to try that some time.

that looks great!

also, you guys, you bagel wasters! cut them in half when they're still okay and stick them in a freezer bag and freeze. toast when you want one.

The pesto looks fantastic! I like that it's low oil, very cool idea.
