As an avowed fan of deep-fried EVERYTHING as well as VHH's entire modus operandi, I heartily applaud this amazing slice of genius. I never thought that using egg replacer would make the batter fluff up so nicely, but now I have to try! So I'm going to make this soon. This week-type soon. Maybe a vegan soul food MoFo post is in order.
