I really love using my crock pot and I really like comfort food. This is pretty cheap to make since veggie dogs are the cheapest of the faux-anythings!

Oh nom! I never had beanie weenies before, but there's lots of stuff I never tried as an omnivore that I find myself eating as a vegan. Easy recipe, too. I think I'll hafta try it!

I like the phrase "beans & weenies." Makes me think of my old next door neighbor's cat named Beans, and across the street was a family who had a bunch of daschunds. My sisters and I liked to call the dogs Weenie, Hot Dog, Sausie (like sausage), and Buns (he was lighter colored and was a bit chubbier/fluffier than the others)...

Anyway, the beans and weenies you made look simply yummy!

vegan hot dogs are well expensive here. if they weren't I'd be eating this with trashy tv far too often.
