An omni friend, knowing I am a cooking and party planning fiend, asked me to plan and make finger foods and cake for her son's 1st b day party. Aside from the hubby and me, all the guests (23 people!) were omni too. She bought all the food (and was really cool about methodically reading ingredient lists), helped with the prep, and gave me arm loads of fresh veggies and fruit as a thank you. It was so much fun! Overall it went really well, and the food (particularly the cake) received a bunch of compliments. Score one for vegan food! Additional party food and details on my just started, rudimentary blog. I usually like to drizzle with a confectioners' glaze, but didn't this time since we already had so much sweet stuff. Thanks everyone for the super nice comments. So excited to be part of the ppk :)
