Better late than never - desserts from this week

I only just pulled the pics off the camera, but here are some of the things I delivered this week. I didn't get a picture of the regular brownies or the fauxstess, but I'm pretty sure you know what those look like by now.

Chocolate Frangelico Petit Fours:

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes (there's a big swirl of peanut buttercream under the chocolate shell):

Um, is that uncooked cookie dough on top of those brownies? Brilliant! Everything else looks awesome too, but man. The brownies. And cookie dough.

Everything looks fantastic, but that carrot cake is the cutest thing I've ever seen!

Oh man! The only problem here is that I can't help myself to pick anyone. Look so good and mouth-watering! Very well done. Wish we could have recipes as well. :)

Thank you so much everyone! There's no secret to the cookie dough brownies, really. Just brownies, baked and cooled, then topped with chocolate chip cookie dough (no baking powder or soda).

Thank you! I'm pretty thorough with figuring out my cost/time/margins etc. When I started making cakes YEARS ago (in my 'spare time' when I was also working two jobs) I was terrible about it, I was so afraid to charge people. When I finally sat down to figure it out I discovered that I was making something like $1/hour. I vowed to never under value myself again, so now I make sure I get paid!

that's right! I always forget you've had baking businesses forever. I just always worry that vegans are so excited to share their awesome treats with the world that they forget they need to get paid.

I'm glad you're there to remind us! I can't tell you how many times I've fussed at people for undercharging for that very reason! It is true that it's easy to get excited and forget to make sure we're making money :)

I thought you said people in your area didn't "get" petit fours, so I'm a little surprised you made another batch. But I guess they bought them this time since everything sold out. Congrats on that! Chocolate frangelico petit fours sound perfect to me. Everything is beautiful as usual; please keep doing the weekly posts!
