VCTOTW Carrot Cake Cupcakes with made-up cream cheese frosting. These look awful; they totally sunk and were moist to the point of collapsing on themselves, but they were amazing.

Everything looks great (esp. the wings). The VCTOTW carrot cupcakes might have sunk because some editions of the book had a typo. I only know because I made them once and they turned out similarly. There was a thread with typos on the old boards but I don't see it here. I think it was supposed to have an additional cup of flour.

Oh my god. I'd never heard of Amy's, but I looked it up, and it's RIGHT NEXT to where I stay when I'm up there. How could I not have known!?! When next I come up, we should totally be vegan friends and hit up Merge & Amy's!

and there's another restuarant downtown on main street called the Eights that has a small but very good vegan menu! seriously!!!
i could show you everything!
