After falling in love with the Thanksgiving sandwich at Terri's in NYC, I really needed it again and had to take matters in my own hands. But instead of a sandwich, I decided to wrap it all up in a pastry.

it was so comforting and freaking delicious!

I've never had tofurkey, or cranberry sauce, or stuffing, but that looks pretty fantastic.

I've never had tofurkey either (or turkey for that matter). Stuffing is OK as a side, but not something I typically crave. Cranberry sauce is somewhat like lingonberry jam. Try it! There are enough recipes floating around that you're bound to find something that appeals to you. I'm oddly fascinated by American Thanksgiving foods. I had decided to try a "leftover sandwich" this year, but maybe I should try pie instead?

I love this idea! I love the sandwich, but a pie. Oh my, a pie....

That looks amazing. I would have smothered the pie in gravy.

Thanksgiving can't come soon enough. I might have to steal this idea.
