New favorite easy seitan (thank you Magic Jelly!) from 1000 Vegan Recipes. Serious comfort food. Dipped cutlets in almond milk/tapioca starch slurry and dredged in whole wheat breadcrumbs/almond flour with herbs and nooch then fried in oil with a bunch of slivered onion. Caulipots are one large-ish potato and one giant head of cauliflower. Used the boiling water from potato with some No Chicken Boullion, flour, olive oil, nooch, spices, and Gravy Master to make the gravy.

It's amazing. I just had it for lunch but cold on a sammy. Still great but a bit chewy. Next time I'll reheat the leftovers.

That looks like the perfect plate of comfort food. Now I really want to try soytan, as well.

Your crumbs are very similar to what I had on mine & I love the addition of the fried onions - looks great! I find the leftovers are nice at room temperature, but a little too chewy straight from the fridge.

That looks amazing! Can I ask what herbs you used for the breadcrumbs?
