First up, I made this cake for Obama volunteers. Then I volunteered the whole week before the election. And then WE WON. So, this cake is magical. Obviously.
Cake recipe from vegweb.com, frosting made-up.

Chocolate ice cream with Justin's peanut butter cups mashed in. Gluttonous, but I never have ice cream.

Super-cozy breakfast I made: Joy of Vegan Baking chocolate chip pancakes and Vegan Brunch tofu scramble with Daiya.

Vegan Brunch East Coast Coffee Cake, with chocolate chips. I make this once a week.

Chocolate Molten Lava Cake from Chloe's Kitchen. We also make these like once a week.

Next, Dear God, this frosting. I now work at a vegan bakery and tried to approximate their frosting at home, and I found success. It's kind of made-up, and I obviously can't share bakery secrets, but trust me when I say it is like magical happiness in frosting form.

I put it on Babycakes Red Velvet Cupcakes. This book...I keep saying I won't bake from it because so many things have failed, and yet I keep trying. These were made with spelt, and in short, didn't taste good. Alas.

The Babycakes gluten-free Chocolate Chip Cookies are the only success I've had. So we made sandwiches.

The night we made them we also made Cinnamon Espresso Cookies from Chloe's Kitchen. Then we ate bagels, vegan cream cheese, and cranberry juice. A gourmet dinner.

And then (this is a weird picture), this is garlic bread from Chloe's Kitchen. Unbaked. It is so. good.

Finally, carrot cake with the aforementioned vanilla frosting. My family (including me) devoured this. Recipe from vegweb:
